Cashmere and sage shaker kitchen in St Neots

From the soft tones and natural textures to the high-performance appliances and smart layout, this newly completed kitchen at Brice Loves Farm in St Neots is now the beating heart of a busy family home – as lovely to live in as it is to look at.

Project overview

  • This was a room designed with real life in mind. The homeowners wanted a bright, inviting space that could adapt to everyday family cooking while still feeling beautifully calm and considered. They also hoped to maximise storage and include a small utility space that complemented the kitchen without compromising style.

From the outset, it was clear this would be a full transformation – and Kitchen Culture was entrusted with every stage, from early concepts through to completion.

  • The chosen kitchen was from Crown Imperial’s Shenaya range, a modern shaker style in a soft Cashmere and Sage palette. Handleless doors helped to keep the look contemporary while still honouring the warmth and elegance of a traditional shaker.

For the worktops, the clients opted for Cimstone Sierra, a beautifully subtle quartz with a light sparkle. To add extra depth and contrast, we introduced Halifax Oak box shelving on the island and custom pantry-style open display shelving, bringing visual warmth and useful storage into one cohesive scheme.

  • This is a kitchen that works hard behind the scenes too. The full suite of Haier appliances includes a multifunction oven, combination microwave, induction hob, canopy extractor, dishwasher, and large-capacity larder fridge and freezer. It’s a high-performance setup that blends perfectly into the cabinetry for a clean, uninterrupted finish.

Every design detail had to earn its place – and with open shelving, considered lighting, and clearly defined zones, this kitchen delivers on both form and function.

  • As a fully managed Kitchen Culture project, we oversaw the entire transformation from start to finish. That included the removal of the previous kitchen, full rewiring, plumbing and heating updates, plastering and decorating, flooring, and of course, the final fit and finish.

Our team was on hand throughout to keep the process smooth and stress-free, delivering a space that truly met the clients’ vision and exceeded expectations.

  • This kitchen isn’t just a one-off success – it’s become the centre of a small Kitchen Culture community! In the year since completion, the homeowners have recommended us to three of their friends and family members, each of whom has now had a new kitchen designed and installed by our team.

It’s always wonderful to know a space has made such a difference to a family – and even better when that story inspires others to start their own journey with us.

  • With soft colours, thoughtful details, and practical family-friendly features, this kitchen has transformed everyday cooking into something joyful. The homeowners are thrilled, and so are we.
