Pale Grey Handleless Kitchen in Papworth
Stepping into this kitchen now, it’s hard to believe the space once existed in an entirely different part of the house. With light bouncing off the smooth pale grey cabinetry and Karndean flooring flowing seamlessly from room to room, the transformation feels effortless – but it was a labour of love.
Project overview
-
The homeowners approached us with a bold idea: to relocate their kitchen to a new room, opening up space for a better layout, increased functionality, and more connected family living. They also wanted to add a utility space and create flow throughout the ground floor with consistent flooring and thoughtful storage. We knew it would be a big job, but it was the right move for the way they wanted to live.
-
We designed a contemporary Crown Imperial Zeluso kitchen in Pale Grey super matt – a clean, modern look with subtle warmth. The Dekton worktops bring strength and style, paired with a sleek undermount sink and Samsung appliances chosen for performance and aesthetics. A wall-mounted extractor sits above the induction hob for clear, unobtrusive ventilation, and the dedicated utility area includes a secondary sink plus space for both washing machine and tumble dryer.
-
Space Towers were added for practical, high-capacity storage, and the handleless cabinetry enhances the uncluttered aesthetic. We designed tailored storage zones in the kitchen, utility, and dining area, ensuring everything had its place.
-
Our team oversaw every element of the project. From moving plumbing and electrics, to laying Karndean flooring throughout the entire ground floor, installing new doors, skirting, and architraves – it was a complete refresh. We coordinated each stage to ensure the process was smooth and stress-free for the client.
-
The finished space feels cohesive, contemporary, and deeply personal. The homeowners were thrilled not only with the result but also with the journey – and in a twist of fate, discovered that a university friend (living miles away in Kent!) had also recently chosen Kitchen Culture, albeit from our Kent team. A lovely coincidence that reflects our growing network of happy customers.
